The tech package is hard to pass up for $500. I canât imagine youâd regret it in the long run. If you donât get those electronics activate youâll probably always wonder about the potential of the bike thatâs locked away. If you canât swing it right now, you can always unlock it with your dealer at a late date.
2017 KTM 690 Enduro - Fuel pump failed at 6500 miles. Radiator sprung a leak at 8000 miles. Airbox sucked. 8500 miles 2018 KTM 250 XC-F - Only real fault was a poorly designed batter ground. Common fault on these bikes. 120 hours 2019 KTM 790 ADV-R - Brake rotors, rear shock (x2), TFT randomly died once. Rear brake line recall. 14k miles.
The 1st 1/2 turn is just taking up the slack in the system, so when you are thinking it stops, is where is actually starts compressing the spring. Have some Wheaties for breakfast and put some effort into it. Lastly, if you have trouble counting the number of turns, you might have more serious issues than adding preload to your new bike.
